Looking forward to the Verde River Runoff Canoe and Kayak Race
Saturday March 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday March 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Town of Camp Verde and its partners are pleased to announce that the 2014 Spring Heritage Pecan and Wine Festival will take place in downtown Camp Verde. The Festival is a actually a combination of at least four formerly separate events, 1) Camp Verde Pecan and Wine Festival, 2) Verde Valley Archaeology Fair, 3) the Verde River Runoff, canoe and kayak race, along with a host of activities surrounding Arizona State Parks’ annual Archaeology and Heritage Awareness Month. It is also a celebration of Camp Verde’s rich tradition as the agricultural hub of Central Arizona, its divergent archaeological and historical heritage and the river that has defined its past as well as its future.
Admission to all events is free. Charges will apply to wine tasting and race participants.
